Heat and humidity increase as rain chances dwindle

Local Weather

Isolated storms are possible through the morning hours of Friday and again through Saturday. When it is not raining (which will be most of the next few days), it will be hot and humid. A Heat Advisory is actually in effect from 12-7pm today for Craig and Mayes counties in Oklahoma and Wilson, Elk, Montgomery and Chautauqua counties in Kansas for heat indices over 100 this afternoon. The heat index will return to over 100 for all of the Four States by Sunday and stick with us through next week.
