Change in weather pattern provides warmer temperatures by weekend

Local Weather

Below-average temperatures and hazy skies will persist through Thursday, but tomorrow will begin a change in our current weather pattern. An upper-level disturbance could create spot showers and storms Thursday afternoon and evening, but the best chance for the Four States will exist over southeast Kansas–most will stay dry. We’ll return to the 90s on Friday, and weekend heat indices should be over 100. This warmer weather should persist into next week, too.
