We are beginning to see the signs of a Spring-Style weather pattern emerge. The Jet stream is consistently coming out of the Southwest. Moisture will be abundant with this setup. More than a few lifting mechanisms will develop within this jet stream and right on top of the four states.
Rainfall begins this morning and continues through the Friday. While different ignition factors will trigger each days rainfall, they will all be nearly back to back.
Wednesday is a day to highlight. The cold front passes Tuesday night and brings below freezing temperatures overnight. The rainfall will continue but the upper level pattern remains warm. This is a sign of freezing rain. We could have an icy start to Wednesday but we bounce back that afternoon and shouldn’t have any long terms affects.
