Presley Takes First in David Suenram Classic

Pittsburg State hosted the 11th annual David Suenram Classic today, as two of their runners took the top three spots in the women’s 1500 meter run. Cassidy Westhoff finished first with a time of 4:49 while Webb City product and Pitt freshman, Cami Roy placed third in 5:00.03. Southern sophomore Jon Johnson took first in the men’s 400 meter dash with a time of 49.06

The women’s pole vault took place indoors due to weather, and came down to Haven Lander of Pitt and Emily Presley of MOSO.

Lander placed second clearing thirteen feet and four and a quarter inches. While Presley in her first competition since coming back from a foot injury matched her indoor PR clearing fourteen feet for first place.
