Playoff Picture: Saints Look to Clinch Number One Seed in NFC

With two games left in the regular season, the Saints return home with a lot at stake.

New Orleans only needs one win to clinch the number one seed in the NFC. The last time they had it? 2009.

Next up: The Pittsburgh Steelers. After that, the Saints finish out the season by hosting the Carolina Panthers who are expected to be without starting quarterback, Cam Newton.

Having home-field advantage from now throughout the playoffs is more than just playing on home turf.

It means no travel time for the Saints, no jet lag, and they get to sleep in their own beds all week!

So just how important is capturing that number one seed to finish off the season?
