Pitt State Women drop first home game of season to Emporia State

The Pittsburg State Gorillas dropped their first home game of the season 77-71 to Emporia State.

Shelby Lopez and Athena Alvarado would both score 16 points in the loss with Megan Scott adding 12.

Emporia State would be led by Tyra Jones who scored 22 points.

The Gorillas will look to regroup against Washburn on Saturday.
