Missouri Southern Basketball held its team camp this weekend. More than 60 teams, many of them from the Four State area, participated in the two-day event.
The event was held for ninth grade through Varsity level squads. Each team plays at least six games to allow them to get some work in, and face good competition, and for Missouri Southern basketball there are many benefits for hosting the camp.
“We’ve got 60 teams, over 60 teams on campus, and you’re thinking, you know, eight to ten kids on a team,” said Missouri Southern Basketball Coach Jeff Boschee. “That’s huge exposure for our school and university, and, you know, we get to show off what we have here on campus as far as our facilities, and they’re top-notch in this area, and I think its just good for Missouri Southern in general.”
