Former Lamar head coach Scott Bailey resigns at Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Former Lamar head football coach Scott Bailey has resigned from the head coaching job at Jefferson City after just one season spent with the Jays.

When reached for comment, Bailey did not provide a reason as to why he was resigning. But it has been confirmed as reports cited personal reasons for the departure.

The Jays went 3-7 this season with Bailey at the helm.
