Lamar starts season off strong with shutout win over Springfield Catholic


LAMAR, MO. — While most high school football teams in Missouri started their seasons Friday night,
The Lamar Tigers had to wait an extra day to kick off their 2021 campaign against Springfield Catholic.

They honored the 2011 state championship team at the before the game, as they were the first group to bring a state high school football championship to Lamar.

The Tigers went on to shut out the Fighting Irish 46-0.
