The Galena Bulldogs are off to Sabetha for a battle with the undefeated Blue Jays and the winner will advance to the Kansas Class 3A state championship in Hutchinson, Kansas on Saturday, November 24th.

For the second straight week, the Bulldogs have traveled to the Kansas-Nebraska border for a playoff game, but the Bulldogs aren’t letting the travel get under their skin.

“This is just a business trip, where you know, it’s not a vacation, it’s, here’s our routine, here’s our schedule and we’re gonna go up there and give it everything we got, and you know try to represent our town the best that we can and uhh, we really have nothing to lose. Uhh you know, everything that we’re doing here, uhh, you know we’re competing at a high level. We’re not satisfied by no means, but, you know, we’re going out, we’re going to play, and do everything that we can and uhh you know no pressure, we just go play and have fun,” said Galena Head Coach, Beau Sarwinski.

Kickoff from Sabetha is 5PM.
