Isaiah Davis scored the first touchdown of the game with a two-yard run on the game’s opening drive, and the Eagles never let up in the first half since then.
Followed by a fumble recovery on the ensuing kickoff which led to a Zech Stayton reverse touchdown pass to James Moman, and a recovered onside kick followed by a Zach Westmoreland receiving touchdown, Joplin held a 21-0 lead after just three minutes of play.
Two blocked punts for scores, a Luke Kuehnel rushing touchdown along with two more Westmoreland scores and another Davis rushing touchdown gave Joplin a 56-0 lead at the end of the first which is the second most in state history for a quarter.
The Eagles ended half with a 77-7 lead.
Joplin will host Linbergh at Junge Field next Friday at 7 PM.
