The former Wildcat Glades Audubon and Nature Center will now be called, the Shoal Creek Conservation Education Center.
    
This new name was approved after a Missouri Conservation Commission meeting last week. The National Audubon Center pulled out of the nature center earlier this year, leaving the future of the facility unknown.
    
The Missouri Department of Conservation took over the facility on July 1st.
