Webb City video store burglarized, police looking for suspect

A Webb City video store is burglarized Monday afternoon.

Chief Don Melton of the Webb City Police Department tells our Joplin News First reporter, “About 1:30 this afternoon we were called to 1460 S Madison reference to a burglary in progress. The man came in behind the counter…fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.”

Chief Melton goes on to tell us the male traveled North and “no weapon was shown or displayed” during the burglary.
