Webb City High School shows it’s love for the teachers

News

A Southwest Missouri school is showing its teachers a little extra love today.

The principals at Webb City High School cooked meals for all the educators on campus. There are nearly 80 teachers at WCHS – so the meals were split between breakfast and lunch. That ranged from pancakes and breakfast casserole to chili, taco soup and potato soup.

“In a building our size and a larger school, there’s days we might not see teachers, something like that unfortunately. So it’s great for us to get out and have those conversations with everybody,” says John Wengert, WCHS Assistant Principal.

While this particular project was a first this year, the school has been hosting other teacher appreciation events for a number of years.
