A Webb City church holds a free sale to help out those in the community.
The Church of the Nazarene is holding a free sale through the weekend. People can come in and shop at no cost for things such as linens, clothes, toys, coats, and dishes. The only money the church will accept in exchange for these items is a donation to the children’s summer camp fund.
In previous years, the free sale has had a lot of items left over. But after taking to Facebook, the community has really responded to the church’s call for shoppers.
“We are thankful. This is probably been one of the best times that we’ve had. We feel like people have come, they’ve taken what they needed, and then left the stuff for other people to come and we’ve really been able to help families this time around,” says Faithe Haeck.
The final day of the free sale at the Church of the Nazarene will take place tomorrow from eight am to noon.
