Veteran Habitat House Enters the Next Phase

Construction at Habitat for Humanity House for a veteran is on to the next phase of completion.

More than 10 volunteers are busy painting the walls in a three bedroom, two bathroom house until Tuesday. Then, they will add flooring Wednesday and Thursday, and install the doors on Friday.

The house is being built for Charlotte and Ronald King, a former Fire Chief and police officer for Webb City, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Ronald King, says “Our family is really happy that we are going to have a home place now and we can get a lot of our things.”

Habitat teamed up with area Home Depots to complete the home by November 10th.
