The USPS will host its 25th annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive on Saturday, May 13th. It’s the largest single-day food drive in the nation.
If you’d like to donate, all you have to do is set out non-perishable food next to your mail box, before your letter carrier’s normal pick-up time. Do not donate frozen food, or items in glass containers.
Last year, postal workers collected 80 million pounds of food.
