The boil advisory for the City of Carterville is over as of Tuesday morning.
City officials say they will continue using Webb City water sources in addition to Carterville water for the next few days, to make sure pressure stays up.
On Thursday, inspectors are coming to try and determine what caused the water table level to drop, and hope to prevent it from happening again.
The original problem started Friday, when residents reported brown water coming out of their faucets. Saturday, people began reporting low water pressure.
That night around 11 PM, city officials decided to start using water from Webb City and issued a boil advisory.
