To help the influx of water over pouring in the four state area, the GRDA has been releasing more water in Langley.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers has directed them to do so. Officials released water at the Pensacola Dam reaching almost 180,000 cubic feet per second of water. The normal levels for water at Lake Hudson is 619 feet. The lake is currently at 635 feet. GRDA officials say their goal is to get as much water downstream as quickly and as safely as possible.
