Two local sponsors do their part in making the St. Jude Dream Home

Two local sponsors are doing their part to give back in the St. Jude Dream Home in Webb City.

As of today (Monday), all the concrete for the house has been poured and the cabinets have been installed. Twin Oaks Customs Cabinets donated the fixtures for 5 different rooms including bathrooms and the kitchen. Meanwhile, “O’Brien Ready Mix” donated all the concrete for the house including the foundation, driveway, sidewalks, and patios. And for one sponsor, this project has a personal meaning.

“Oh, it’s great! I used to live in Memphis, and went by their main hospital over there. It’s a great organization to help out kids and to help everybody involved,” says Kyle O’Brien, O’Brien Ready Mix co-owner.

“St. Jude does a great thing for all of those children that have needs. And, we think it’s a great thing to deliver a product every day to Schuber Mitchell Homes, and even better when we’re changing people’s lives,” says Colby Thomas, Twin Oaks Cabinets Install Manager.

Tickets for the Southwest Missouri St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway will start going on sale in February. The home will then go to one lucky winner this coming spring. All proceeds raised in the giveaway will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
