Troutman Pleads Guilty

Cynthia Troutman of Neosho pleads guilty to a county of receiving stolen property.  She was granted a suspended sentence in a case involving more than $65,000 in missing court funds.  

The defendant’s plea deal with the prosecutor’s office requires that Troutman serve 5 years probation and pay $40,000 in restitution to the Carl Junction Municipal Court.  

Troutman was fired from her position as Carl Junction Municipal Court 3 years ago after discovery of $1,300 missing from her office.
