TRAFFIC UPDATE: Due to inclement weather forecasted this week, traffic changes around the hospital will not go into effect today, as originally planned. Weather permitting; the traffic change will occur on Wednesday, May 1.
Upcoming construction could congest the entry way of the Ascension Via Christi hospital in Pittsburg.
Today the city announced on April 29th the hospital entrances on the west side of the building will be temporarily closed while construction on south Rouse continues.
Weather permitting, construction could last anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks. The plan is to repave the road between Centennial drive and and Cedar lane.
