A Tornado Watch has been issued for all of Northeast Oklahoma in the Four State region.

The watch is in effect until 12am (Friday overnight).

Counties in the Four State area include Ottawa, Craig, Delaware, and Mayes, as well as several others in central and east central Oklahoma.

A Tornado Watch means atmospheric conditions are favorable for tornado development.

Chief Meteorologist Ray Foreman says the environment could create a few brief spin up tornadoes in this area.
