The Joplin School Board Chooses President, Swears in New Member

A new board member is sworn in to the Joplin School Board, while the board president will keep his job for another year.

Dr. Michael Joseph officially joined the board tonight, along with Sharrock Dermott who was sworn in for another term in office. Board members re-elected Dermott as President, which gives him another term in that office.

Brent Jordan was appointed as Vice Presidend of the board. There are seven members of the Joplin School Board, and two of those positions were decided at the polls earlier this month.
