Southwest Missouri bull rider remembered at inaugural event

News

Fans and fellow athletes will remember a beloved Southwest Missouri bull rider.

The “Ridin’ with Mason Lowe Invitiational” is happening at the Bill Hailey Arena in Cassville, Saturday night. Lowe was killed during a PBR event in Denver back in January. 40 cowboys, in collaboration with Lowe’s family, will help remember him during the inaugural event. Brady Sims is a PBR bull rider from Missouri, who knew Mason Lowe. Sims hopes this event helps Lowe’s legacy lives on.

“and I think everybody’s going to love it, and I think the crowd’s going to love it, and I’m hoping this thing grows in the next few years to where there’s nothing but lawn chairs out there because we can’t fit everybody,” says PBR bull rider Brady Sims.

You can buy tickets at the Bill Hailey Arena gate. They’ll be $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Bull riding starts at 7 p.m. You’re encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. All proceeds will be donated to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
