It might feel like winter out there, but spring break is just around the corner, and the Southeast Kansas Education Service Center is offering a fun way for your kids to keep learning.
Staff at the Southeast Kansas Education Service Center in Greenbush are offering a series of spring break camps for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. The camps run from 9 in the morning through three in the afternoon.
Staff say the camps will offer kids a chance to learn about Kansas state symbols, the science of soils and rocks and even take a look at what can learn about the future from what’s happening today. Counselors say the camps are designed to keep the kids learning while having fun during their school break.
“And that’s honestly our whole goal for spring break camps and for summer camps. We want to provide intentional, hands-on educational learning experiences, while making it fun,” says Emily Roth, Camp and Enrichment Coordinator, Greenbush.
