Southeast Kansas Casey’s store raises most money for CMN in the Four States

An area convenience store goes above and beyond the call of duty to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network.

Not only did the Baxter Springs Casey’s General Store raise more money than any other one in the Four States, only two other Casey’s stores in the country brought in more money for C.M.N.

During the month of March, the Baxter location brought in nearly 7 thousand dollars.

The cause is personal for the store’s manager who’s child and two of her siblings spent time in the N.I.C.U. after being born premature.

But Felicia Fanoele, the Baxter Springs Casey’s Store Manager, says it’s the generosity of her customers that deserves the credit.

“They, they always step up, um especially when we tell them it’s Children’s Miracle Network, they jump right in, same way with my employees, they jump right in, they’ll donate what ever, any time they have extra change or extra bills they get right on it,” says Fanoele.

During the month of March, customers were asked to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar to support C.M.N.

Over the last five years, the Baxter location has raised about 25 thousand dollars for C.M.N.
