Severe storms are possible across the entire Four State region for Tuesday afternoon and evening.
The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has placed all of the KSN/KODE viewing area under an Enhanced Risk for severe storms. That includes northeast Oklahoma, southeast Kansas, southwest Missouri, and northwest Arkansas.
All modes of severe weather are possible with this incoming system. The SPC says hail the size of golf balls, damaging wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour, and a few tornadoes are all possible.
Flash flooding is also a threat with heavy rainfall rates expected. A Flash Flood Watch is posted for the entire viewing area from Tuesday morning through Thursday morning. Anywhere from 2 to 4 inches in expected, with higher amounts possible in some spots.
