High school students aren’t the only ones going to prom this Spring.
Residents of Southeast Kansas were invited to attend the first ever Quaker Hill Senior Prom.
This is the third year in a row for the Kansas Lions Club Health Fair at Quaker Hill.
But this year, the decision was made to make the event even more meaningful by hosting a Senior Prom at the same time.
Debra Hopkins, Quaker Hill Outreach Coordinator, says, “We have residents from Quaker Hill, from Medical Lodge’s of Columbus, and Galena Nursing Center that have residents that have came today for fun.”
The entertainment for the event came from Duke Mason.
A host of area restaurants, including Olive Garden, Pizza Hut, Cafe on the Route, and Sonic helped make the meal portion of the event possible.
