MISSOURI — A new agreement is in place in a Missouri opioid lawsuit.

Drug maker Mallinkrodt will pay $1.6 Billion dollars into a trust fund.

That will benefit Missouri and 46 other states and territories.

The pharmaceutical company is currently the largest manufacturer of generic opioids.

There are no details yet on how much each state will get, or how the money will be distributed.
