SEK Humane Society Open House

The group used grant funds of 76-thousand dollars to create four outside exercise pens and an indoor dog building that is climate controlled.
The society has also redone its parking lot to make it safer with new parking signs.
SEK humane officials say it means so much to see people come out to support them at their events they hold for the community.

” To see that much of the public come out and show there support and be thrilled with all the improvements that we are doing. It’s so heart-warming. Because without this community we would not be having every anniversary this year..we wouldn’t be able to keep our doors open without the community’s support. We solely survive on donations and grants that’s it.” said Jasmine Kyle, Business and Promotions Manager SEK Humane society.

Kyle adds the society still has to complete the Ronald Thomas dog park this year.
She says they are in need of straw right now for winter to help keep the pets warm.
