The second phase of a major road expansion in Pittsburg is set to begin next week.
Rouse Street will be widened to three lanes to help with traffic flow and safety. Starting next Monday, July 16th, it will become a one-way street heading north from Amber Drive.
It will therefore be closed to southbound traffic at Cedar Lane. City leaders say having one lane open for traffic shouldn't affect the timeline of the project, which is estimated to last about four months.
A full road map is available online, we've got a link to that here.
