Royal Heights Elementary holds safety fair

Some students in the Joplin District used their last day of school to learn about school safety.

Students at Royal Heights Elementary School paid a visit to Humphrey Park today, before being dismissed for the summer. Members of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office used the occasion to present a safety fair.

“We got to learn how to be safe, we got to see some sheriffs and the SWAT Team,” says Greyson Greninger.

Students were also taught to stay away from tobacco products.
