A local organization served some tasty food to help some upcoming landscape projects.
Members of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States’ landscape committee served breakfast at the Webb City Farmer’s Market this morning.
They dished out eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and O.J. to raise money for outside maintenance the group works on around Ronald McDonald House.
The landscape committee wasn’t alone in serving hungry market customers Saturday.
Shirley Hylton, Program Coordinator, “We partner with the Joplin High School FFA class. So we even have a few students from FFA helping us out here today. They come early we have to wash dishes, we have to cook, we have to serve. So prepping things. So having them help out too is really great.”
Last year the group made $450.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States will be hosting a volunteer appreciation day on June 7.
