KANSAS — Kansas residents having a hard time paying rent may soon have some help thanks to a new program.
$200 million has been made available by Governor Laura Kelly and the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation. To qualify – residents must earn no more than 80% of their area’s income. They must also have experienced financial hardship due to the pandemic – and were or are at risk of homelessness or housing instability.
The application launches on March 15th.
