The National Weather Service – Springfield Office has released it’s preliminary damage survey results on the Aurora tornado.
According to the report the EF-1 tornado was on the ground for 9 miles with winds peaking at nearly 90 MPH.
The twister was on the ground from 6:36 P.M. to 7:01 P.M. leaving minor damage to property.
There were no reported injuries.
