UPDATE: Oklahoma State Highway 127 affected by flooding is now open


All lanes of SH-127 are open four miles north of Jay.

According to a release from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, a portion of State Highway 127 four miles north of Jay, was down to one lane due to flooding.

On Monday, portions of the road were affected by heavy rains overnight and temporary traffic signals are in place to safely direct traffic.

DURING flooding conditions, motorists are reminded:

  • Don’t drive around barricades if roadway is closed.
  • If you see high water, turn around and do not enter.
