21-year-old Kevin Connors is being held in the Crawford County Jail for aggravated robbery, criminal use of a financial card and attempted burglary.

On Sunday night, Pittsburg police responded to Papa John’s Pizza on South Broadway where a delivery employee had been robbed at knife point in the parking lot. No one was injured and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash.

Then Monday afternoon, officers responded to a burglary in progress at a residence on East Carlton Street. Officers made contact with Connors and arrested him for attempted residential burglary. After receiving additional information, police got a search warrant for Connors’ apartment where they found evidence connecting him to the Papa John’s Robbery and other residential burglaries.

The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Pittsburg Police Department at (620) 231-1700.
