The Pittsburg Community Schools superintendent met with lawmakers in Topeka yesterday.

Superintendent Rich Profitt Met at the Kansas state capital to discuss more funding for Pittsburg Community Schools in the coming years. The plan is to have the Supreme Court reach an agreement on an education budget that also takes into account how inflation changes their costs each year.

Right now the budget still needs to be approved by the Supreme Court before it goes into effect, this budget will help Pittsburg Community Schools understand how much will be given to them each year.
