Show Me State leaders work to improve services and better manage Missouri’s 16 major executive departments.
Governor Mike Parson and state figureheads are in the second session of what’s called “Missouri Way,” a management training program.
The three-day event is part of Parson’s efforts to reform management at all state levels. Training deals with problem-solving, team performance, and leadership challenges.
The hope is that agencies will revamp employee development and recruitment, and better serve the public.
The pilot “Missouri Way” program was in August, and now the governor wants to hold training every 90 days to make sure all state leaders get the same training.
