A southeast Kansas hospital opens a temporary clinic in Oswego, just weeks after the town’s hospital closes.
The temporary clinic opened Monday, and saw fifteen patients, with fifty more scheduled throughout the week. The facility houses seven staff members, offering primary and express care, EKG and lab draws. It is located just south of the intersection of US 160 and Commercial street in Oswego. The current clinic is just over 2,000 square feet, with four exam rooms and one procedure room. Hospital administrators say while this is only a temporary home, they hope to announce plans for a permanent location in Oswego soon.
