Organizations come together to help veterans transition back into civilian life

Several veteran organizations like Compass Quest and True North Enterprises, as well as other employers, are getting together to help make that transition as seamless as possible. Job Cook, with Alorica in Joplin, says they frequently have openings and veterans fit the bill perfectly.

“We look at veterans advocacy groups to be able to pull those people in because what better group of people than our veterans that are separating from service to come and work, they’re already highly skilled workers, they have years of work experience, they’re reliable and those are the exact kind of people that our organization would like to bring in,” says Jeb Cook, Alorica Public Relations.

The event was put on by the Joining Community Forces Council.
