Oklahoma governor pushes for accurate census count

The 2020 census could mean more federal funding for the state of Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt is pushing an accurate count for the state.

He’s hoping the state reaches four million people.

Governor Stitt has launched a “Complete Count Committee” of twenty hand-selected people to help do the census.

The Department of Commerce will create that Complete Count Committee.

They’ll give the governor recommendations to reach the most accurate count.
