The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety apologizes to the public after long delays at the DMV.
According to DPS officials, there were problems with the state’s computer systems that issued driver’s licenses and state tags. A power outage had caused the hardware to malfunction, and they have been working with the vendor to correct the issue.
All license bureaus are now online and ready to service Oklahoma residents.
