NO Threat at Webb City High School Today


From the Webb City School District: “Admin at Webb City were notified of a 911 call referencing a possibly threat at Webb City High School this evening.

With cooperation of the Webb City Police & Fire Departments, school personnel were able to determine that no threat existed at the high school.

In addition, the person responsible for the 911 call has been taken into custody, has admitted the threat was false and will be facing charges.

Thank you for the swift response of the Webb City Police & Fire Departments and the Jasper County Sheriff in making the apprehension of the person making the threat.

We would also like to commend the many athletes, students participating in the play, and their parents who were on-site for their cooperation and help.”
