A small town is spreading holiday cheer with trolley rides around the community.
The Fort Scott Convention and Visitors Center is putting on its annual tradition of the “No Humbugs Allowed” Christmas lights trolley tour. Every weekend, visitors can take rides from six to eight pm to sing carols and see Christmas lights around town. Organizers say they’re delighted to bring the community together for the holiday season.
“It’s a great way for us to really spread some Christmas cheer, especially when you see the little kids come in and they are so excited to see the elves and get hot chocolate and to see the things that are going on around town. It gives you a nice small town feel here in Fort Scott to be able to do something like that,” says Larry Gazaway, Fort Scott Convention & Visitors Bureau Director.
Trolley rides are $10 dollars for adults and $6 dollars for children. The No Humbugs Allowed trolly tours will continue through December 23rd.
