Newton County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Letters

   Starting this week, a local sheriff’s office is notifying residents about warrants.

   The Newton County Sheriff’s Office is sending out letters to those with warrants within the county.
   The law enforcement agency wants the public to know that these letters are not a scam and will not ask for immediate payments in the form of gift cards.
   These letters will only be sent for misdemeanors, not felony charges.
   They can be double checked by recipients by calling the courts at 417-451-8210 or visiting Missouri’s
