They will host the 4th Annual Chili Cook-off this Saturday afternoon at 2891 Reinmiller Road in Joplin. It will feature chili and other dishes for those who don’t like chili, a live band, a silent auction, a bouncy house, and a kids train ride.
The event is $5 for those six years old and older, but children five and under are free. It starts at 4:30 and will end at 8:30 P.M.
“Come on by Extreme Sports in Joplin — we are one of the collection points. You can drop stuff off at any Newton County Fire Station or Newton County ambulance. Drop off unwrapped presents that we can pack up and help the kids out with,” said chili judge Dan Ladue.
