New study shows high cost contributing to poor hygiene in some groups

A new study by the CDC says women and hispanics have the poorest oral hygiene of any group in the US.

Researchers are attributing the issue to the high cost. About 13 % of women admitted to skipping the dentist in 2017 all due to the bill. When it comes to looking at the issue by race, hispanics are the most common to have unmet needs. According to Statista, dental visit costs have consistently climbed over the past ten years, with the average price of dental services being more than $480.
