JOPLIN, Mo.– Plans are moving ahead to build more housing for seniors in Joplin.

City council members reviewed site plans for the project Monday night. The four-story building will sit on East 44th Street. It will include 151 units designed for residents 55 and older – with a footprint that also includes a pool and dog park.

Developers hope to open the complex in the spring of 2022.
